Thanks to all those who have joined this blog via 'Google Friends Connect'.
I have just passed 200 followers and hope I can get to 300 someday.
I will continue to blog as I enjoy doing so and hopefully I can supply more interesting content.
If there is anything in particular that you would like to see more of please let me know in the comments section of this post and I will see what I can do.
I will post results for the month soon. Don't expect too much this month or next as I am busy with other stuff :)
Unfortunately due to my late decision to take an exam I won't be keeping up with 300k VPP pace.
It's easily doable if I was grinding only but as that is not the case it will be very tough.
I will still have a shot after I'm finished with my work but it may mean playing NL200+ and I'm not sure I want to do that for like 10 hours a day during Xmas time.
I may just elect to grind solidly and try to win as much $$ as I can while picking up a couple of FPP cash bonuses.
You can see where I'm at now ------->>>
With regard to this months grind I can't seem to get anything consistent going and it is currently win one day, lose the next and keep repeating that cycle.
My poker volume is going to drop a lot over the next 6 weeks as I am busy with an exam.
I will continue to post but maybe not as often.
I will resume good volume from mid December.
The month so far has been swingy. I did well getting to +$2k in good time but since then it has been up and down and currently am only up like $1.2k or so.
I got back on Friday after spending 4 nights at Center Parcs Elveden Forest in Suffolk. It was my first visit to one of these places.
The journey from north west London was not too bad at around 90 minutes by car.
For those who don't know Center Parcs is a sports and activity village. There are 26 villages around Europe.
The villages have villas, lodges, bungalows and hotel accommodation for guests. We stayed in the the hotel as the smaller lodges were booked up.
The map of the village can be seen here:
As you can see it is quite a large place. It is advisable to hire or bring your own bikes to get around. We decided to hire bikes for £25 each for the length of our stay which was decent value. We picked up these 2 mountain bikes:
The hotel was nothing amazing, I would say it was around a 3 star for the room. There was a pretty cool revolving restaurant on the top floor which served a good breakfast albeit slightly expensive.
Here is our room:
We had a little friend visit us too:
In the middle of the village is an area with shops and restaurants. The best place to eat was probably Hucks American Diner which served up some tasty burgers and fajitas. Bella Italia was also good as well as Cafe Rouge. The worst place was the Indian Rajinda Pradesh which had extremely poor service and the main course was awful.

Also in the central part is the Sports Plaza and Subtropical Paradise. We spent a lot of our time here. You have in this area:
Badminton
Tennis
Ten Pin Bowling
Snooker/ Pool
Bar
Nightclub
Arcade
Las Vegas Style Gambling Machines
Various Swimming Pools
Water slides
Tropical Cyclone Ride
All in all it was a really enjoyable trip and I can recommend it to anyone who wants a short break in the UK.
My favourite part of the trip was riding the Segway Scooters:
I got a little footage too, was hard to film while riding:
Pokerstars 7-2 Boom promo is really stimulating some action at the tables. The prizes are small but people are going crazy, sadly including myself.
If you win a hand with 72s you win the big blind x the number of players seated. For example:
You are playing at a nine-handed Hold’em ring game table with blinds of $1/$2. You win with 7-2 suited and Boom! your hand. You would win $2 (big blind) x 8 (number of opponents) = $16 cash prize.
Its a fun promo but so far I have won $16 and spewed off around $100, Lol. Probably gonna give up on this unless I can take it down with an open or 3bet.
