I don't often list to music when grinding but when I do I like to choose something with as few words as possible.

This means I usually go for something like drum n bass or dance.

I have also used this type of music on occasion when winding down and reviewing my hands on holdem manager.

I used this relaxing track while watching my bad beats :)

Devastating Cobra

If you missed the big fight in the early hours of Sunday morning then you need to find a way to see it.

Carl 'Cobra' Froch won the world title for the 3rd time in his career when he destroyed undefeated champ Lucian Bute.

It was the IBF version this time and was fought out in Froch's home town of Nottingham.

The bookies got this one completely wrong and had Bute as quite a solid favourite to win.

It was an awesome display from Carl that lasted 5 rounds before the stoppage was made. It was a last chance saloon for him as he stated after the fight that had he had lost then he was going to announce his retirement from from the sport. He can now look forward to some more big fights.

On the Road to Recovery

29 days in Feb and its the 20th today. That leaves me 10 days to complete my fight back. Im against the ropes but swinging hard.... a bit the David Haye and Dereck Chisora in their shameful brawl on Sat.

Big Fight Preview: Amir Khan vs Zab Judah

Amir Khan vs Zab Judah (IBF & WBA Light-Welterweight Belts)

Date: Saturday 23 July

Start time: 0300-0400 BST [Sunday, 24 July]

Coverage: Live on pay-per-view Primetime TV, commentary on BBC 5 live

Weight: 140lbs

It's the young pretender vs the veteran.... well not really a pretender as he is now a world champ and quite seasoned. Amir still has a lot to achieve in his career and this fight vs Judah is a good stepping stone.

Khan is a big favourite with the bookies and Judah has lost 6 fights already in his career. He has however fought a lot of big names including Cotto, Mayweather and Tszyu but he lost to all of them.

So will the experience of Zab prevail or will the youthful hunger of Amir come through. I think khan will win but you can't rule out an upset. My last prediction about Haye / Klitschko was wrong so let see if I can get this one right. I will go for a first half stoppage for khan.

Khan has weaknesses including his suspect chin. He lost badly when he fought Prescott and has been put down and been in trouble in a few fights. This will give Judah a chance.

An intriguing encounter. I look forward to it.

Weigh ins:

Wladimir Klitschko Jabs David Haye out of the Fight

Right from the get go Wlad assumed the centre of the ring and edged forward jabbing away at Haye.

Haye had talked about taking it to Klitschko but was unable to get within range. He made numerous attempts to come inside but Wlad was too clever in keeping him at bay.

He cited a broken toe as the main reason saying he was unable to launch from the foot. I'm not sure the result would be any different if he was completely fit.

If he truly believes that this lost him the fight then he must fight again and prove the case. I don't think he should retire with unfinished business still left hanging in the air.

There was a large British contingent within the 45,000 strong crowd that packed the Imtech Arena. They were frustrated to see their man lose badly on points with large margins. They were 117-109, 118-108 and 116-110.

After all the hype in the build up we were expecting a lot more from this fight.

The Klitschko's have now unified the division and there doesn't seem like there is anyone out there to stop them.

The date has been set for July 2nd 2011. David Haye will meet Wladimir Klitschko for the long awaited Heavyweight unification bout in Hamburg, Germany.

Haye is really on top of his game right now. Looking at his last 5 fights he has performed very well. This fight is a step up in class for Haye as Wladimir is the top ranked guy in the division right now. This will be his toughest opponent to date.

I will of course be supporting the British fighter and give you 3 reasons why Haye will win. They are Wladimir's 3 prior defeats to fighters who were not as good as Haye when they fought the younger Klitschko.

November Mid Month Review

It was Round 3 yesterday when David Haye decided to turn it on and dispatch Fraudley Harrison in style! Something to do with the fact that he had bet on himself to win in this round.... hmmm... controversial to say the least but he is the most exciting heavyweight around, so we forgive him his dodgyness .

I hope the fight with one or both Klitschkos can be made in 2011 before he hangs up the gloves. All the best to the Hayemaker... Bring it home!!

A Big Shout Out to the HAYEMAKER......

Heavyweight boxing has been pretty boring since the days of Ali, Frazier and Foreman...

More recently was the Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe era which brought about plenty excitement. But the last 10yrs have been quite dull with only Lennox Lewis and the Klitschko's worth giving a mention.

But, London's very own David Haye has emerged from the shadows and deserves a big shout out.. He brings his own injection of personality, style and KNOCK out punching. I eagerly anticipate a bout with either one of the Ukrainian giants who i think will be slain by the Hayemaker. Hayes chin is a question and I'm sure he could be sparked out by many a heayweight out there...

But, the excitement is back in heavyweight boxing as John Ruiz found out while he was lying on his back..!!

So Go David..... We're all behind you...
