If you want to know what it is like to be in the worst downswing ever of my poker playing days then just take a look what a typical day is like for me these days. An odd day like this is fine and expected but when it happens over and over again for 3 months it is tough to deal with..!!

ReplyDeleteI know man, Cheers.
ReplyDeleteJust tough going thru 3 months of it when I have been winning for 7 yrs
:P
How did you get in my HUD ??? Dam you Roshy :)
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteThe River is killing me
Your ability to deal with the soul crusher says more than anything. 99% of people would have tilted off their whole roll or quit the game after 3 months. Give yourself a lot of credit. That's why you have been able to make a living off this game for so long. It will turn.
ReplyDeleteI'm fighting..!!
ReplyDeleteI lost 8 buy ins at .10 / .25 playing against players that called me down to the river with anything and everything. A guy even went all-in against my aces with q10o abd hit quad 10s. I've had aces cracked 5 out of 6 times last weekend and I also accidentally folded aces that hit the set on the flop while multitabling. So I'm taking a break and stick to $1 tournaments to work on my basics.
ReplyDeleteSorry Bud, welcome to my world, last 4 months.
ReplyDeleteTaking a break is good however $1 tournis are not gunna help ur cash game. Very different mindsets / ranges
You're right, the ranges pretty crazy... I just saw guys go all-in preflop and both had 56 (mind you one was suited! Lol). I'll just take a break to read on the game. Good luck to you.
DeleteThough I respect your game and all, your all in shoves on some of those very wet boards were marginal to say the least. I've learned to recognize certain setup hands that are only there to generate rake and therefore proceed with caution.
ReplyDeleteWinning for 7 years and playing NL25???? LMFAO. And by the way, the hands posted are quite standard (got bored after the 4th one )
