Biggest Pot Lost in 2011

I was bound to curse myself with that last post

On a big down day today which includes the biggest pot lost all year

I am currently playing 16 NL100 tables as my basic setup. I also substitute from time to time up to 2 NL200 tables and up to 2 250bb NL100 tables.

This hand occurred at NL200

Poker Stars $200.00 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

BTN: $202.00
SB: $201.00
Hero (BB): $328.75
UTG: $298.30
UTG+1: $643.80
MP1: $200.00
MP2: $81.00
CO: $74.55

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with A of diamonds A of hearts
UTG raises to $7, 6 folds, Hero raises to $23, UTG calls $16

Flop: ($47.00) 9 of clubs Q of clubs Q of diamonds (2 players)
Hero bets $25.65, UTG calls $25.65

Turn: ($98.30) A of spades (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks

River: ($98.30) 8 of diamonds (2 players)
Hero bets $59.05, UTG raises to $249.65, Hero calls $190.60

Final Pot: $597.60

Hero shows A of diamonds A of hearts
UTG shows Q of spades Q of hearts

UTG wins $594.60
(Rake: $3.00)

This is such a cooler hand and there's not much to talk about really. I don't know too much about the villain apart from him being an average Reg. It more likely he has 99, 88 or possibly AQ. I am snap calling top full house all day long. To be shown QQuads is so unlucky... oh well.. lets see if I can get back to even today..!!

Peace

  1. Not much you can do about that - just bad luck!
