It wasn't long ago that I was talking about switching to a more aggressive bankroll management. Since then I have been playing more 6 Max but am getting destroyed and my shot taking aspirations will have to wait. My roll is down to $3k now and not really good enough to be playing 100/200/higher. I will continue until I get to $4.5k before adding back NL100 games.
And probably the biggest pot in the last 2 days
There are a quite a few more where I should have found a fold along with a few coolers. Looks like its going to be a bumpy ride.

You probably had reasons for doing so, but to be honest I take a more aggressive line in nearly all the hands (especially the 33 one). I know when I run bad I start to play too passively, worrying about losing pots and call or check instead of betting or raising.
ReplyDeleteHow would you play the 33 hand?
DeleteI'd raise the flop basically always. We can have a much wider range of semi-bluffs in our range with a flop as opposed to a turn raise, not to mention avoiding the risk of a fourth heart coming OTT.
DeleteTbh, I usually do just that. Not sure why I strayed, must be the passive run-bad syndrome
Deletei couldnt watch them all i felt physically sick for ya. jus horrible.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know. I need to build the roll asap so I have a buffer against these runs
