My Cash Game run good continues and I am now up 6 days in row. It feels just like the old days!!
On the last Sunday of each month I play the Turbo Takedown, DNG (Daily Ninety Grand - Sunday Special) and from now onwards the newly re-named STORM. I also occasionally play the Sunday Million or Sunday Warmup
Today I didn't fare well in the tourneys and was dumped out of all of them by 11pm, ouch....
The end of the month is close and I am hoping to win the last four days of march to make it 10 up days on the trot.
I now play 10 Tables of NL100 as my standard with a few variations thrown in for laffs
Anyways, here is the graph:
Stats:
In other news, Sri Lanka absolutly smashed England in the Cricket World Cup and now meet New Zealand in the Semi-Finals. We have already beat them in the group stage so it should be a repeat battering.
Today something rare occurred in the course of my poker adventure. I won monies for the 3rd day in a row. This almost never happens these days.... so, weeeeeeeeeeee
I remember a couple of years ago when it was normal for me to go on 6 or 7 day winning streaks. I Hope those days return, but for now it's a hat Trick..!!
Just a quick shout out to the Sri Lankan Cricket Team wishing them crushings vs England in the big match on Saturday.
Today as I was watching the World Cup Cricket match between Sri Lanka & New Zealand I decided to fire up some some NL25 tables
I only opened up 6 tables so I could concentrate on the TV
Anyway without even thinking about it my game opens up and I loosen up. Im not sure whether its due to the level or the number of tables but I certainly did not think oh its only NL25 so let me up the agression
Sri Lanka crushed New Zealand and the business end of the World Cup is very close now so I'm pretty excited about that. England have also made it through to the quarter finals and have been invovled in the most nail biting matches so far
Here are my stats from today's sessions. As you can see I ran at around 19/14 at NL25 and I nitted it up at NL100
The Graph was all over the place:
I would have had an awesome day if the biggest hand of the day went my way. One time it will..!!
Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is MP1 with K K 2 folds, UTG+2 raises to $3, Hero raises to $10.85, MP2 raises to $30, 5 folds, Hero raises to $131.85, MP2 calls $101.85
I had heard a few rumours that the NL100 tables were a lot better since stars implemented the table changes.
I have been playing NL50 all month and yesterday I played 2 short sessions at NL100. I made small wins in both sessions but I decided to play only 10 tables. When I was winning at poker I never played more than 10 tables at any one time.
Today I fired up my 10 tables again and have won again, all 3 sessions today. So that's 5 sessions out of 5, hmmmmmmm.
I can say that there were 2 extremely tough spots where I made big lay downs, correctly or incorrectly I don't know but if I was 24 tabling they would have probably been insta calls where I wouldn't have had the time to think through how the hand played. I usually get shown the nuts in these situations and cry for a little bit.
I will try and stick to this new set-up unless I have a hugely bad run.
Some nice fish are back at NL100 and here is an example. You would never see a reg call pre with this hand in the SB
This post is in part to celebrate the fact that I have just found out how to convert hand histories, lol
Hope I am not this slow on the poker table
The Villain in this hand is a 16/9 but as I only have 76 hands on him i'm not sure what I can gauge from this. I will assume that he is not a fish though
He can beat JJ-KK, 99 but I think sometimes you just have to let go. Its unlikely that I barrel 3 streets with 99 and I would mostly 3bet QQ-KK pre. So he only beats JJ
The turn card is very interesting as it completes the flush and 56 just completed the straight. However as he holds the A he could have moved all-in and possibly taken me off the hand as I assumed that he was not a fish. I probably call a fishes shove though on the turn
