Pokerstars ZOOM And BOOM Promo Is Back
The promo for ZOOM players is back again and it starts right now for the next week. The last time it was on I managed to bag 13 Buy-Ins which was pretty damn good.
This time the rules have changed.
Last time it was on there was a different hand for each day of the week. Some of the hands were junky like 32s and pretty hard to win with. This time there is only one hand for the whole week and it is KsKc which should be easy to win with..!!
Also, unlike last time you only have to win postflop and not at showdown which means it will be very easy to win with. Due to this reason Stars have limited the wins to only 1 per day with a max win of $100 per day which means the promo will cost them a lot less than last time.
It's still an excellent promotion and I will be hoping to win 7 Buy-Ins, hopefully at the maximum NL100.
I use a four colour deck so I will keep telling myself 'Black King, Green King', lol.

Pokerstars NEW Guinness World Record Tournament
I played in the largest ever tournament field yesterday when I entered the $1 Guinness World Record tournament on Pokerstars.
There were 225,000 entrants with a prize pool of $300,000. I managed to beat 94% of the field, finishing 12,062nd for a whopping cash of $4 :)
The winner was Mr.SlavaPro who scooped a nice $25,000 in a little over 4 hours.

Microulis69 Wins 100 Billionth Hand on Pokerstars for 103k
Around 400k Pokerstars players were online trying to be at the lucky table where the winner of hand 100 Billion was going to get 100k.
It was a 5NL table that hit:
It was a 5NL table that hit:
J5s won the hand for player microulis69 who picked up 103k for his trouble. GG
I decided to 28x table to try and hit the mega milestone hand which was a complete nightmare as I struggled to keep up with the pace and timed out over and over again. My game fell apart and I can confirm I will never do this again :) I think 18-20 is my max. Here is the graph of my session leading up to the milestone hand:

I Didn't Like Him So I Pumped It Up
Pretty sure I had some 3b/4b battles with this villain a couple of months back. They were though mainly co/btn/sb/bb but this time I made an error by squeezing here as he is UTG+1 and a 12/10 nit. The 4b is so small I decided to speculate + there are some guys you just wanna get :)

30BI Rule - Update 06/06/13
Recently I talked about the 30 BI rule which I am now using.
I started out playing with only $2.6k as I had cashed out over $10k during a 3 month period.
I began playing NL25/NL50 with the target of hitting $3k and then adding in some NL100. I managed to pass that figure but then went on a $700 downer which meant I had to drop that level.
I had been flirting above and below the $3k figure for a while until this month kicked off a little heater and I am now decently above.
I am still playing ZOOM and the problem now is that NL100 doesn't run at FR during the daytime. I play some 6max but still feel more comfortable with FR.
In the mornings/ afternoon I 8x table NL25/NL50 or 6x table NL50/NL100 6max. The evenings are good as I can 8x table NL100/NL50.
My next target is to get the roll up to $6k then add NL200. For the time being I may have to switch to normal tables so I can play more 100.

Why Oh Why?
I will never understand why people make some plays. In this hand we are 3-handed and the short stacker's turn play is awful. He has air, probably drawing dead and probably does not have any FE against the PFR as he only has double his bet left.
I think I made an error by jamming. I may have got the the PFR to call if I had just flat or even jam himself. I also lost a potential river bet. What do u think?
