ReplyDeleteive just started grinding cash $0.05/$0.10 over 1000 hands i was up $44 and now over the total 3000 hands im down to $23. so what i wanted to know are the downswings big at full ring cash tables? and also what is your biggest downswing over a certain period of time? cheers!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteYour swing is only 6BIs which is nothing and completely normal even if you were the best player in the world. Don't worry about it at all. In my biggest day I played 16,000 hands so a 3,000 hand sample is negligible.
If you had a 30BI downswing you could consider that bad. In terms of samples I would say u need at least 100k hands if not 200k hands at a particular level if you want to know how well you really play.
My biggest downswing in over 6yrs playing was around 60BIs in like 6weeks. I got stung by beat after beat while trying my 1st attempt at 24-tabling

ReplyDelete60 buy ins jheeeeze!! i was planning on going for 300k vpps this year grinding 24 tables $0.10/$0.25 but its just my luck they change the vpp distribution! but i definatly want to get a good bankroll to take a shot at SNE how comes you havent gone for it?
Some changes may be made to the VPP distribution / benefits once the player reps have had talks with stars. We will have to wait and see, not long now.
